LONG TIME NO SEE!

I have to make this quick tonight.  I'm trying to catch up with Breaking Bad and I'm only on Season 3, episode 8.  Poor Hank, gotta find out if he's going to live or not.

Anyway, I have been so busy running my own campaign for Precinct Chair, going to Bylaws Meetings, taking care of my kids and running my daughter back and forth to Dallas I have had ZERO chance to blog.  SO many things have happened, it's impossible to cover everything, so I won't.  I won't even attempt to talk about all the shit going on.  One thing, though:  call your senators and tell them NOT to support the UN Small Arms Treaty - that's just some stupid BULLSHIT by the libs and the UN to begin the ban on guns and stripping us of our right to bear arms.  I don't care what anyone says, that's what the ultimate goal is of the liberal party and the UN.  We don't take orders from the UN and they can kiss my ass if they think they're getting my guns.  They have no right over me or my family or my country. Period!

Ok, so on to my precinct race!  :-)

I have been to almost every house in my area. There are about 400 homes here and I've talked to almost all of them.  Some of them I haven't even bothered to go around because there are a few bad pockets of crazies living in them.  I call them the liberal armpits of the neighborhood.  I did manage to go into one of the areas that isn't all that attractive, mostly duplexes and fourplexes now, and found some very nice people that agreed to give me their vote AND their emails!  Wow!  People are pissed all over!  hehehe.  Angry people make great voters.

I have only had two run-ins from liberal nut-jobs.  Two out of 400 isn't bad, eh?  One guy told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and one lady told me that I absolutely SHOULD have to pay for health insurance because I have two children and it's not fair that I make everyone else pay for them.  I about fell off her porch.  Bitch, really?!?!  I told her that no one pays my medical bills except me and that I pay for my kids' bills as well.  She had the nerve to tell me that I was full of it and that I was basically an irresponsible parent that won't pay her medical bills.  I jerked my card out of her hand and said told her I did not want her vote and for her to have a great day.  She hollered "oooh, looks like I hit a nerve" and I said well, hell yes you did hit a nerve.  You don't know me or anything about my kids or what bills I do or don't pay and I don't want your vote!  Then she tried to tell me she didn't  say that and I said "yes, ma'am, you DID say that.  you stood there and told me I make everyone else pay for my kids when I am the one that gets that bill every month and I am the one that makes that payment!  Not you, not anyone - just me!"  So she backtracks and says that I am a rare example.  Yeah? Tell that to the other families that pay their bills, too, I'm sure they would love to set her straight.  Anyway, she said with my attitude I will never get elected to anything and I told her, as I was standing in the rain (totally cliche but true) "You know what?  I WILL win this race and I WILL become precinct chair and it won't be because of the likes of YOU and I wouldn't take your vote for anything!"  lmao, it was like a scene from a movie!  Gawd, such dramatics!  She yelled out "Well, great - you go girl!"  Hahahahah...  When I look back on it, I'm embarrassed about it but gee whiz, she pissed me off!  You don't go accusing people of things that aren't true especially since you don't even know them.  I work hard to pay my bills.  I'm broke half the time because of it.  I don't go running around spending everything I have on stupid things, I pay my bills, dangit!  OY!  These people.

I have been standing outside of the sub-courthouse after work yesterday and today.  Not a whole lot of voters going in from my precinct, though.  But it's early voting so most people are coming in from all over so I'm thinking that most of my precinct will wait til election day next week to show up.  I have had some people email me and tell me they voted for me and are behind me 100% and I am so grateful for that.  It's nerve-wracking to have to wait to see what happens!  I know it's only precinct chair and I don't get paid for it and it's the bottom level of the political playing field but I have worked really hard and it's important to me.  I haven't had any help from anyone and I really have busted my buns to make this work.  I will be running around my neighborhood again tomorrow reminding people that it's time to vote and I hope they aren't sick to death of me by now, LOL.

So that's it, in a nutshell.  I have volunteered to be on a resolutions committee with Common Ground America so I can help get key pieces of legislation passed here in Texas and hopefully in Congress, too.  I have met a very friendly lawyer that says he will help me write up a new recall law so that we can start recalling our congressmen and women when they violate their oaths of office and break constitutional laws.  I have seen some promising data that may make it easier to get into the legislature so we shall see.

Well, that's all for now.  I have got to start my next episode of Breaking Bad before it gets too late.

Love to all!
